Itinerary

HANOI – HALONG BAY – HALONG PARK – SAPA – FANSIPAN

Duration: 5  days 4 nights / Transportation: Shuttle bus / Departure: Daily

DAY 1: HANOI CITY TOUR         ( – / LUNCH / – ) 

08h00-08h20: We will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter or Hanoi Opera House. In the morning, we will visit:

• Tran Quoc Pagoda located on an east side isle of the West Lake (Tay Ho district), It is considered as the most ancient pagoda in Thang Long – Ha Noi with its historical progression in 1500 years. It has a harmonious combination between the majesty, hoariness architecture and peaceful landscape of the West Lake. From the period in the Ly and Tran dynasties, it had become the Buddhist center of Thang Long.
• Visit the complex of president Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum (Mausoleum and Stilt house) – Where the great leader lived and worked until the last years of his life. Here, you will have the opportunity to learn about Uncle Ho’s simple life. In addition, you will stop by One Pillar Pagoda to admire one of the 4 symbols of Hanoi.

Note: with departure days on Monday and Friday, Mausoleum Management Board will carry out maintenance of the mausoleum, you will visit only outside of Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, stilt house and One Pillar Pagoda.

• The Imperial Academy – the first university in Vietnam. Literature lake, Khue Van Pavilion, stele house… are valuable highlight objects that you cannot ignore. The tour guide will tell you about of 82 doctor stele stones with names of 1306 people standing until nowadays

Noon: Return to the Old Quarter to have lunch at the restaurant. After lunch, you will see 36 streets from the car and listen to the guide tell stories about the streets of the ancient urban marketplace.

Afternoon: We will visit:

• Vietnam Museum of Ethnology: This is the most recent yet probably the largest and undoubtedly the most interesting Museums in Hanoi and Vietnam. There are both indoors and outdoors sections, while the in – housed exhibition is particularly informative, the outdoors display and activities make the museum stand out from the rest. There are a number of houses modeling after the traditional architecture of ethnic minorities, especially those who live in Northern and Central highlands.

On Monday, the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology is closed, instead of the Vietnamese Women Museum.

• Hoan Kiem lake (Sword lake) – center of Hanoi with Turtle tower, Ngoc Son Temple, furthermore, you could discover the Vietnamese traditional and French colonial architecture through buildings surrounding the lake.

16h00: End of Hanoi City tour, the car will take you back to the hotel in the Old Quarter or you can rent a cyclo around the Old Quarter and Sword Lake at your own expense. water puppet show… (performance schedule may change depending on the specific period). Or the bus takes you to the hotel to check in and rest. Have dinner at your own expense to explore Hanoi Old Quarter cuisine. 

In the evening, you are free to walk and explore the Old Quarter at night. Overnight in Hanoi

DAY 2: HANOI – HALONG BAY                 ( B / L / D )

08h00-08h30: Picking up from the hotel (in Hanoi Old Quarter area) and departing for Halong, stop over for a rest on the way.

11h30-12h00: Arrive HaLong Harbor, welcome aboard, and safety briefing. The cruise will take you on a 5 hour journey via 2 day-sleeper boat cruise route which renowned for its striking, passages uninhabited islets and outcrops have been given imaginative names by the locals, due to their perceived shapes, including Cock Fighting and Thumb, while enjoy Vietnamese mouth-watering lunch on boat.

13h45-14h00: Arrive Bo Hon archipelago, you will visit Surprising Cave to see a lot of stalagmites and stalactites with different shapes of sea lives, then go kayaking or bamboo boat in Luon Cave to discover the beautiful lagoon. Visit Titov Island with sandy beach adjacent to the towering limestone mountain with excellent backdrop of the Bay and climb up Titov Peak for a panoramic view of the bay like paradise.

16h30: Return the Cruise back toward the Harbor. There is a lot of time for sunbathing on the upper deck with music, enjoy great fun of group touring fellows among world iconic natural scenery.

17h30-18h00: Disembark for a bus ride to your hotel in Halong, short break on the way.

19h00: Dinner. Evening free to explore Night Market, Food Street… Overnight in Ha Long.

DAY 3: HALONG PARK – HANOI ( B / – / – )

07h00: Breakfast at the hotel. After that, you are free to play at the complex of Ha Long Park with many attractive amusement parks (note: tickets to the parks are self-sufficient):

1. The Queen Cable Car and the giant Sunwheel on the mysterious hill
2. Dragon park with adventure games such as roller coasters, ferris wheel…
3. Typhoon water park with attractive water-related games

11h00: Lunch at your own expense.

11h30: Check out of the hotel. And then get on the bus back to Hanoi.

17h00: The tour in Halong ends, You arrive in Hanoi. Check in at the hotel to rest. Have dinner at your own expense to explore Hanoi Old Quarter cuisine at night. In the evening, you are free to walk and explore the Old Quarter at night. Overnight in Hanoi.

DAY 4: HANOI – SAPA – CAT CAT VILLAGE                    ( B / L / D )

06.20: Our sleeping bus will pick you at the address on Tran Quang Khai street and depart to Sapa following Noi Bai – Lao Cai highway. Along the way, you will have a chance to enjoy the beauty of northwestern mountains, terraced fields sparkling in sunlight or dim in thick fog. Have two short-breaks in 30 minutes for each and then continue the trip to Sapa.

13.00-13.30: Arrive in Sapa, eat lunch and check in at the hotel. 

14.30: You will start hiking to Cat Cat Village which is occupied by the Black H’mong tribe. Here, you can see the hydroelectric power station which was built by the French in the twentieth century. You will experience the tribal way of life of ethnic minorities while enjoying wonderful views of the terraced rice paddy fields and the waterfall in Cat Cat village. Visitors will also understand culture, unique customs, traditional crafts such as weaving, touching carved silver, forged agricultural tools…  Come back to the hotel.

18h30: Having dinner. After dinner, you are free to explore the charm of Sapa by night, enjoy roasted corn, baked eggs beside charcoal fire or go shopping. Especially on Saturday night, we highly recommend a stop at the Love Market – one of the unique cultures of ethnic minorities in northwest Vietnam. Overnight at a hotel in Sapa.

DAY 5: SAPA – FANSIPAN MOUNTAIN – HANOI                 ( B / L / – )

07.00: Eat breakfast in the hotel.

08.00: Car and tour guide take you to Fansipan Cable Car Station to start the journey to conquer Fansipan with the world’s most modern 3-wire cable car system with a cabin that can accommodate up to 30 visitors. Then continue conquering to the top of Fansipan at 3.143m higher from sea-level, the roof of Indochina.

11.30: Back to Sapa, eat lunch and rest.

13.00: Get on the bus and go back to Hanoi.

19.30: Arrive Hanoi. Tour ends. See you again!

• 04 nights at an accommodation hotel, 02 persons in a room. In case there are an odd number of tourists, there will be a room having 3 persons if accepted. If not, an additional fee of 50% price of a hotel room will be charged

• Tip for driver and tour guide: COMPULSORY, at least 3$/passenger/day

Price Policy for Children

• Free for children with ages from 1 to 4 (no meal, no seat, no ticket…)
• 5 to 9 year-old children will be charged 75% of the tour fee (they will have their own seats in our car and their own meals, but they have to share the hotel room with their parents)
• From 10-year-old children are considered as adults

Important note: With any age, if the child is taller than 120cm must be charged 100% price as an adult for the tickets of sightseeing boat in HaLong or cable car in Sapa

Notice 

• You have to bring your Passport
•  You should bring any type of medicine for preventing insects and common diseases
• Tour guide can rearrange the schedule, but all places stay the same
• If you are a vegetarian, you can bring your own food to suit your taste (if necessary)
• If you register for the tour from April to November every year, you should bring light and airy clothes.

Customer responsibilities:

• Customers are responsible for your illness and chronic diseases (cardiovascular disease, blood pressure, diabetes, osteoarthritis …), congenital diseases, latent diseases, HIV AIDS, mental and neurological disorders , pregnant women … are diseases that are not covered by the insurance. When necessary, you must write your own commitment to your health when participating in the tour. The tour organizer is not responsible for the cases you do not report the illness, untruthful declaration as well as cases outside the coverage of travel in the tour.
• Customers must preserve their property in all circumstances and at all locations during the trip. The tour organizer is not responsible for any lost money, identification, airline tickets, personal belongings and other property of the customer during the trip
