Itinerary

BINH LIEU COGONGRASS FLOWER SEASON

Time: 2 days 1 night / Vehicle: Car / Departure: every Saturday

The season of Binh Lieu reed grass begins in early winter, usually in a short period from late October to mid-November. When the reed flowers bloom in full white, it is also the time when Binh Lieu welcomes the first cool breezes. When they first bloom, the reed flowers are pure white, growing in clusters. After a while, the flowers gradually turn yellow and fall off with the wind.

DAY 01: HA NOI – BINH LIEU – REED HILL                  ( – / L /D)

06h30: Car and tour guide pick up the group at the Opera House and depart for Binh Lieu (about 260km from Hanoi). On the way, the group stops at V23 Hung Yen station on the Hai Phong highway for breakfast. Then the group continues to get on the car to Quang Ninh.

11h30: The group arrived at Binh Lieu Town and get to the restaurant for lunch.

13h00: You will get on the bus to visit the first point in Binh Lieu, which is Marker 1297 of the Vietnam – China border. This is known as the most beautiful Reed Grass Paradise in Vietnam (most beautiful from mid-October to November every year). Here, the group can freely check in and take pictures of the endlessly blooming white Reed Grass hills.

16h00: The group got on the bus and returned to their rooms to rest.

19h00: Enjoy dinner with specialties such as: local chicken, stream fish, five-color sticky rice, dong vermicelli… Free to explore the border town at night. Overnight in Binh Lieu.

06h30: You will check out and have breakfast at the restaurant.

07h15: The group boarded the bus to continue the journey to conquer the Dinosaur’s Back ridge top (where landmark 1305 is located). Located on the border patrol road, in Hoanh Mo commune (Binh Lieu), border landmark 1305 is the highest landmark not only in Binh Lieu but also in Quang Ninh province. It takes about 1.5 to 2 hours to climb to the landmark.

10h30: Back to the bus to depart for Binh Lieu town.
